Carmen called me today after she got home and asked me if I would be willing to talk to the nurse at Dr. K.’s office about the “spell” I witnessed. I agreed. So Carmen placed a three-way call to the doctor’s office. I gave the nurse an account of what I saw. It occurred to me that maybe she had been unable to get her breath because of sleep apnea. I asked the nurse about it. She said that Carrie had already been tested for that and she didn’t have it.
