Kent, Stewart and I traveled to Middletown in order to arrive at Carmen’s house by 8PM. No cars were in the driveway and the lights were off. We rang the doorbell anyway. We could hear the dog barking inside but no one answered the door. Stewart called the police.

While we waited for the police, Dave drove down Vancouver St past the house, turned around and came back. He ordered us to get out of his driveway and leave. I told him that we were waiting for the police to arrive. He reiterated that we should leave and that we had five minutes or else. I stood my ground and repeated that we would not leave until the police came. We did, however, move my car to the street instead of the driveway.

When the police came we told them about what Dave did. Officer Maxwell went to the door; Dave answered and the officer went in. When he came back out he told us that Carmen claimed that during the last visit (July 31 at Dad’s house) Stewart didn’t do Carrie’s PT exercises, didn’t give her medication, fed her milk which she is allegedly allergic to.

We drove home. On the way, Stewart called Bruce H’s voicemail and instructed him to file a motion for contempt.

At this point it seems hopeless for us to keep trying to get Carrie. Stewart decided to wait until the contempt hearing before making any more trips to Middletown.
