Stewart's court hearing is drawing near. The original contempt hearing was scheduled on 12/17/04, but Carmen hired a new lawyer (her third) and got a continuance. My class schedule is very full this semester. In order for me to go, I have to make a tough decision about whether or not to skip 3 classes on a Thursday. This includes my Spanish lab which meets only once per week. Honestly, I'm at the end of my energy for this matter. I don't want to admit defeat, but frankly, I'm afraid that the case is hopeless. Carmen is very sly and cunning. The only way our family will get to see Carrie is if Carmen is put in jail. She's really not even afraid of the threat.
