Carrie had a BM diaper this morning when she got up at 7AM. She had a banana and yogurt for breakfast. When I toasted my bagel and put salmon-flavored cream cheese on it she wanted some. She ate maybe two bites of it.

Lunch was the usual chicken nuggets with some apple sauce and crackers. She definitely has her favorite foods. I tried today but still haven’t been able to get her to eat ravioli. Tonya the foster mom said she liked it. Maybe she doesn’t like Chef Boyardee. Her diaper was wet after lunch.

My friend Rob stopped by again at 3:00. This time he came bearing gifts. He had a book titled Good Night Moon for Carrie and one called What to Expect: The Toddler Years for me. We were planning to be at Peter & Toby’s by 4:00 but Rob didn’t leave until around 4:15. In the meantime I had to change Carrie’s diaper: BM.

I took fish sticks and apple sauce to Peter & Toby’s house for Carrie’s dinner. Toby was going to serve a salad with freshly grilled tuna on it. I wasn’t sure if Carrie would go for that. He also served a cold soup made of carrots and something else. Carrie ate all of her fish sticks and tried my tuna and soup. She only had a couple bites of each. She played hide-and-seek with us by hiding behind the dining room door. Peter played with her over and over. Her imaginative play skills are really coming through. After dinner, Carrie played the piano. After a few notes she applauded. This went on for nearly 30 minutes. Toby gave her a small teddy bear to play with. She began to play hid-and-seek with it by putting it in the TV armoire. We left at 7:30. I gave her a bath at 8:00 and put her to bed.
