Mom said Carmen called her today about her and Stewart coming to get Carrie for a weekend visit. The bottom line of this phone call was that Carmen told mom to stay out of it or she may get hurt. That constitutes a verbal threat. I told mom that this was plenty enough reason to contact the police in Middletown and have them escort her and Stewart to Carmen’s house.
